timewalk is the title of urs grunder’s second artbook. over 40 years ago, urs grunder was a student at the secondary school (progymnasium, called progr) in berne. in 2010, he returned to this place with his camera in his hand. familiar scents, many memories and his curiousness led to the idea of starting a project, with him returning to the rooms and halls of progr as a “passing shadow”. the presence merges with memories of the past. images from now and then begin to overlap. thoughts become visible and impressions mix with emotions, thus creating a very unique world for the viewer..
